The Bravery Snipes Back at The Killers The Bravery Snipes Back at The Killers
Apr 07, 2005 If there's nothing more rock'n'roll than a totally inconsequential feud, the Bravery/Killers clash is heating up to be very, very rock'n'roll. After taking flak from Killers front man Brandon Flowers in an MTV interview (read full story), Bravery front man Sam Endicott stepped up to the plate on San Fransico's Live 105. Apparently Endicott doesn't take to well to charges of bandwagon-jumping. "I feel bad talking bad about him because it’s like hitting a girl," Endicott said. "It’s like picking on a kid in a wheelchair because he has no personality and no sense of humour at all. So what can you say to that?" Endicott didn't back off from taking a swipe at Killers bassist Mark Stoermer, however. "There’s the one guy who's like nine feet tall. He looks like a little Dutch girl with a beard, but like a nine-foot-tall Dutch girl like a mutant radioactive." Aversion is currently attempting a co-headlining Killers/Bravery tour titled "Bitch Fig Check it out ...Shiny Toy Guns R gonna blowup VERY soon and bring melody back to music..you heard it here 1st! http://www.myspacecomment...theone.mp3

nothing more pathetic than two pansy-ass bands getting into a slapfight. "I don't need your forgiveness, cos I've been saved by Jesus, so fuck you."

this is so absurd i'm almost tempted to think the bands cooked it up between them just to have a laugh, and get a bit of publicity.

the Killers don't need the pub their tearing it up sales wise...the Bravery yes true. although, the bravery CD did have a pretty nice debut this week. i actually picked it up, it's not bad. not as good as the killers though, IMHO.

I saw that also--#18 in the U.S.! They will need a hit single to keep up that momentum though. I don't think "An Honest Mistake" has caught on yet.

i wasnt really impressed by either CD to be honest, they both sound like trendwhores to me. This is like seeing Pink and Britney getting into a catfight...

I really like The Bravery CD, but I admit that it's pure candy and no substance. I've only heard the two Killers singles and I can't get into "Mr Brightside".

the Killers don't need the pub their tearing it up sales wise...the Bravery yes What is the Bravery's music like? I know it's pretty 80's driven but who would you compare them to? Is it worth checking out their cd?

The Killers' album is one of the few that I can enjoy as much as any classic album. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

Duran Duran Well, it's more like Duran Duran jamming with The Cure and New Order. I'm getting pretty annoyed with these damn New Wave posers. The entire Bravery CD is very uptempo and dancy. It's more like early New Order when they were still trying to sound like Joy Division. clarification edit [Edited 4/9/05 12:31pm]
