Does anybody know why the doors weren't invited 2 woodstock 69' Here's something I been wondering, has much as I love the woodstock footage I always wonder why The Doors weren't invited to perform, it just seem like the show was missing something not inviting jim morrison 2 peform John 3:16-20 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. According to John Densmore's autobio ("Riders On The Storm") , the group were invited to perform, but that Morrison didn't want to do anymore outdoor shows.
