did anyone else see her on american idol last night ???

talk about freakin incredible damn that female can sing !!!!!

She is always catching the holy ghost. It would be nice if her next performance was subdued.

Some of my friends said she sounded absolutely awful, as if her voice was damaged - can anyone confirm this?

she was very good...it just makes you realize how bad everybody this year sux. there's no emotion, all they do is mug for the camera. latoya london, fanstasia and jennifer husdon were heads and tails above the rest last year. this year, it seems like a few of the people have the potential/voice to do something really great, but they just haven't done it yet.

I thought this was going to be about the music in Disney's masterpiece

I love her voice. She absolutely deserves to be where she is right now. If it's all about raw talent, I think she's far above Ruben, Clay and Kelly put together. But songs like BABY MAMA aren't her friend.

two totally different messages...CPR's song has hidden digs at the man who left her and her baby, but is sung to the child, not the man, as the title would infer. Fantasia's song speaks to the girls/women who have decided to have their babies and are out there trying to make ends meet. I can relate more to Fantasia's song because my own Dad left my Mom with 5 kids in 1977 and she struggled and busted her assto make it all work for us. all 5 of us have gone to college and are doing well. so yeah when people say "it's a ghetto song" i disagree--it's about taking the hand that you've been dealt and doing what you gotta do to get by. Some of ya'll make it seem like she made a song about getting a damn welfare check every month instead of about "making the beds and going to school"
