Would Madonna ever work with GWEN?

I think it would be cool if Madge and Gwen collaborated on something...do you think Madonna would do it if approached?

let's hope they don't.....

Britney and Madonna was fantastic enough, it would be a hard act to top

yes. not only would she, i think she she should. that would have the potential to be an incredibly fun, upbeat, classic pop song.

perhaps, but i hope not. i don't like the idea of lowering herself to collaborrating with her imitators. the Britney song was okay, but not really anything special. (that "sexy lady" line really gets on my nerves). but it's more understandable in a passing-the-torch sort of way, than, say, working with Gwen or Kylie, who're basically just knock-offs. and no, that's not a slam, to all the Gwen and Kylie fans, but that is basically what they are. Madonna, half-a-generation down.

NO

I see Madonna doing the Britney thing with her tounge in cheek humor. and the single did well in the clubs and in Europe.

i don't think Gwen and Mads would work well together.

how is Gwen a knock off? i'm not challenging you - i'm actually interested in hearing this since madonna and gwen started out very differently, in my opinion.

Madonna's first few bands were punk and rock bands.

she's been slowly turning herself into Madonna jr. for the last 10 years. look at the Don't Speak video and onwards, in her look and the type of music she's been turning to.

Unless Madonna wants someone to smack her in the mouth, no, she won't work with Gwen. Britney was enough....

She probably doesn't like how often Gwen tries to align herself to Madonan every five minutes (remember when Gwen found out they were related). It's beyond desperation....she makes Britney's admiration look almmost tactful.

Gwen said explicitly that L.A.M.B. was heavily influenced by Madonna. However, I don't think her work with No Doubt was. Going blonde and singing pop/rock songs does not make you Madonna. She reminded me more of Debbie Harry during her No Doubt days.
