Anybody Buy Lisa Marie Presley's New Album I'm a big fan of her debut To Whom It May Concern and just picked up her new album Now What. Aside from her cover of Don Henley's "Dirty Laundry", no other song is really jumping out at me.
Perhaps this one will take longer to digest. Anybody else get it? Thoughts? | |

Heard a bits of it on net and didn´t get into it that much. Don´t know. "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. All I've heard so far is her cover of Dirty Laundry. It's okay, I guess, but nothing special.
I really think she gets judged too harshly though. She's got just as much talent as any other singer/songwriter that's currently getting loaded with critical praise and commercial success, but because of who her dad is she gets judged unfairly. A lot of people feel nothing can compare with the King, but they shouldn't be comparing the two in the first place. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!" | |
