ok so Britney lashes out at tabloids...

for allegedly reporting false information, cameras invading her privacy, etc. but CNN Headline news just reported she signed a deal with UPN to have her own "Newlyweds" show where cameras will follow her and Kevin Federline around - you know, the whole Nick and Jessica thing.

Yes, it's a ploy for her to tell her own "story" but the whole idea makes no sense given her current attack against the press.

What a contradiction
And god, no more of these faux reality shows... Jessica and Nick, then Ashlee, now Britney...

She can always say "Y'all, this is my side of the story, y'all". What might be harder to defend if the fact that it's on UPN! At least with MTV, if it's good and a hit, you're sort of trendy. On UPN, if it's a hit...you're still on UPN! How the might have fallen. It's either going to bad and boring (I'm predicing) or so God awful terrible, you try but you can't turn away. TWTV, Train Wreck Television, baby!

Celebrities can't even live off camera. Warren Beatty was so right, it's scary! It's interesting how this coincides with Britney having no new music coming out, and her husband having nothing to offer the public himself.

I'm not sure about her not having music coming out (it's rumoured all over she working on something, or done, there is this song called "Mona Lisa"...) but you're so right on about him having nothing to offer as en entertainer...or a human being!

Spears, Husband to Star in Reality Series

NEW YORK - Pop singer Britney Spears and hubby Kevin Federline have said "I do" to star in a UPN reality series that documents their courtship, engagement and wedding.

Featuring what UPN bills as "exclusive, never-before-seen private home videos" of their "personal love story," the six-episode series is scheduled to premiere later this season. It picks up shortly after the pair met in Los Angeles and headed to Europe on tour, where Federline performed as a backup dancer for Spears.

UPN is also shooting new footage and commentary with the couple.

They were married last fall, amid much speculation and publicity. More recently, the 23-year-old Spears has lashed out at tabloid magazines for reporting that she is pregnant and that the marriage is on the rocks. (This is her second marriage, following her mere hours-long wedlock in January 2004 to childhood friend Jason Alexander.)

"I feel that last year the tabloids ran my life," said the Grammy Award-winning singer in commenting on her new series, "and I am really excited about showing my fans what really happened rather than all the stories, which have been misconstrued by journalists in the past."

As if Britney will be around as long has Stevie has. Grammy or not, there is no comparision here...

At the rate things are going with her, no. Does Britney has as much involvement in her records as Stevie....no! Are Britney's records as consistently good as Stevie's....no! Does Britney have a lot to learn before challenging Miss Nicks....

Now looking at this post you're either connoting Stevie nicks is big and round like Mr. Kool Aid or sweet like Kool AId, or perhaps both. IF that's what you are saying, yes Britney may be a lot lighter than "Miss Nicks" these days...but the musical talent doesnt compare. And for you to bring in the weight issue is just another example of how shallow the music industry and people like you are.

first off, i'd like to say that i'm having a hard time following the arguments on this thread...they are all over the place! i don't get the "jealous much nicks bitch" thing at all. is this something britney said about stevie? confuse

comparing the two is so not even worth fighting about. stevie nicks is an undisputed artist, britney is a disputed pop tart. where's the comparison? are we really using grammys to support claims of artistry? have you seen the grammys lately? its not exactly showcasing a plethora of talent!

britney's career is, unfortunately for her, over. what we are seeing and hearing now are the death rattles of a once very promising career. stevie, on the other hand, is still selling out tours in which she SINGS her OWN penned songs. she's still making successful solo records and groups records. we'll see if the same can be said of britney in 25 years.

so...what was the argument again?

No, weight has nothing to do with it!

The whole point of that photo was not his shape but Mr. Kool Aid was sayiing..."Oh Yeah"!. As in, Britney has a lot to learn... I guess I should have typed that as well...Opps!

It all started with Purple saying, after I mentioned Britney won a Grammy, "she won for best dance song i think...what a joke!"....and then "Britney" (well, I) made the fictional comment. That's what I get for attempting humour...

And don't count Britney out...a comeback is always possible.
