Who plays an Instrument ?

I see lot's of post here, talking about instrumentation (is that a word) anyway. How many of you all play instruments and what type of music do yall play them too.

I play:

Drums and Percussion - My best, a pro
Guitar - Decent
Bass - Decent
Keyboard/Piano - Average
Trombone - ?, haven't played since 7th grade (5 years ago)

I like to play RnB, Soul, Funk music.
PRINCE: Always and Forever
MICHAEL JACKSON: Always and Forever

Saxophone - played since the age of 8 (i'm now 26)
Guitar - played since the age of 9
Bass - ditto
Drums - since the age of 10; I'm "better than a lot drummers", so I'm told...about Prince or Stevie Wonder-level.
Keys - average, probably about the same level of skill as Lennon or McCartney.

If the above sounds big-headed, that's really not my intention...music has always been what I spend most of my time doing.

As for style, I was classically trained, but my roots are in African-American music (jazz, blues, rock, funk et al).

A sample of what I can do is in my sig. It's all I can offer right now (don't have enough $ to record more) to promote myself, get a recording contract and really let loose.

Oh yeah, I can also SING, but I don't consider that my strongest musical skill.

I play my distortion pedals, with an instrument plug that's other end is not attached to anything. Then I like to shout obscenities on top of it, through a distortion pedal.

There goes my 12 years of musical training.

Whilst I am trying to get past the "average" stage with drums, my main instrument is guitar. I have been playing, self-taught, since I was 16 I think. I turn 32 next month, so after 16 years, I should be at least half-way decent by now, and people tell me I am really good.

I play in a rock covers band, and although I like to think I can cover a wide variety of styles, I am best when playing blues-y rock lead. I aim more for a Slash/ Angus Young thing than an Eddie Van Halen/ Randy Rhoads thing, which is just as well!
