I'm sorry, but I've never seen people be so snooty and pretentious about pop music as some Madonna fans. It's just pop music, people. You'd think she was Michaelangelo or something. I'm a fan, but the whole "she's-an-auteur" mentality from fanatics can be somewhat off-putting. Madonna is the Truffaut of the music industry.

that is a terrible way to show yourself to the world.

why should janet stop doing what she feels just because your tired of it? no one is forcing you to listen to her music or look at her pictures. It's not like madonna is exactly selling tons of more music with her "mature" shit!
