but even i'm tired of seeing ol' girl throw her titties and ass in my face. it was cool when i was 16 and rebellious. it was cool when i was 21 and thought it was "a statement." i'm almost 30 now...janet's even older...and its just not cool anymore. add to that the fact that back in the day airbrushing was not needed. the same can't be said today. i have no doubt her ass is wonderful but nobody's - and i mean nobody's - ass looks like that without some post production work. so, here's my theory: if you feel you need to airbrush or artificially enhance your assets before publishing them in a magazine, don't show your assets. period.

i love damita jo (its one of my faves) and i enjoyed all for you. honestly, though, its getting harder and harder for me to take cds like 1814 and velvet rope seriously when, unfortunately, i begin to see janet as a one dimensional caricature of herself. its fine if you want to talk about your sexuality but if its the only way to present yourself to the public i begin to think that its the only way you see yourself - as a piece of sex.

that is a terrible way to show yourself to the world.
