George Harrison- My Sweet Lord One of musics finest moments

I got a lot of respect for that song, I dig it.. Its not the religious chants, cause im not religious in that sense.. Its the feeling and soul he has in it..

I love this song, I really do.

It sounds really sad to me. A lot of genuine heart in it.
The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

"You still wanna take me to prison...just because I won't trade humanity for patriotism."

I think the nostalgic feeling comes from ripping off the CHIFFONS "He's So Fine".

I don't believe he "consciously" ripped them off, but the courts said that point didn't matter.

Go figure. confused

Hey it's possible he'd never heard the song and coincidentally devised the same melody. But it hardly detracts from my respect for George harrison, the most underappreciated Beatle, even if it were true. All Things must pass is a masterpiece

I would find it highly unlikely that he never heard "He's So Fine" and managed to coincidentally write the same two main sections, chord for chord, note for note.

That being said, I doubt he did it intentionally.
