did HCUDCMA chart yet in the us?

Has anybody heard the neptunes remix of HCUDCMA which you can download from www.aliciakeys.com?

It's pretty nice, markweaver. I'm listening to it right now...

But I really like how Prince ends his song.

No haven't heard that, but ALicia Keys was on BET's Countdown show '106th and Park' They were releasing the video on to the countdown, it was the 'New Joint' of the day.

She was thanking ALL of the people that were involved with the song, she mentioned the hard work she put into it, and thanked her producer; "Little X", there was absolutely NO reference to Prince writing the song AT ALL!! I was very upset, I was really fond of her until then, I still like her, but where I'm from, you give props to those who helped you. Or in this case the people/person who actually wrote the song!

Correct me if I'm wrong but PRINCE did write the song write! Not 'Little X', 'Alicia Keyes' or 'Stephanie Mills' right? That might be a silly question but, seeing the respect he's gettin' it's not really!

AJ one of the co-host of 106th and Park, did mention Prince for a split second. He was interviewing her (Alicia) and asked her something like; "Now you and the 'Purple One'..." he was cut off by his co-host "Free" before he could finish the question. I don't believe it was intentionable.

Prince's songs often appear on 106th and Park, when they do their 'Old school joint' It's always 'When Doves Cry'

Must admit, I'm a litle bitter about that, but I'll get over it. It makes you wonder, is there a conspiracy against Prince, really? Do other record labels and owners try to keep him down because he stood up to Warner Bros. and they don't want their artist to be rebellious in the same sense? Don't know really, but it sure does suck!

I do not know if there is a conspircy against Prince in the music industry but, some mild hatred. Right now record sales are at a all time low. People are burning CD's and downloading music all over the world. I do not think music industry types are going to sing the praises of someone who really predicted this shit years ago.

As for Alicia Keys it would be common courtesy to give him credit but, she will get hers in the end. What comes around goes around.

But it's not Alicia Keyes, it's the company she got contracts with.
