george clinton's r&b skeletons in the closet Who else think this is an underrated masterpiece, & George's best solo album so far (though all of his solo albums are masterpiece IMO) ?
I remember the 1st time i heard it, back in 1992. I was 15 years old & even with Prince i had NEVER heard something that crazy ! It took me a while just 2 UNDERSTAND this music, cuz it was 2 far away from anything i had ever heard b4 (except maybe "Batdance"), but eventually i realised that it was just pure genius. I remember that all my friends hated it at the time, it was 2 different from what they used 2 listen 2, & they reacted 2 it as they would have 2 Philip Glass or Steve Reich, saying that it was 2 weird, not even music... This album is really experimental, particularly the insane "Mixmaster Suite", & it does contain some of the FUNKIEST tracks i ever heard.
