Are there any fans out there who love both Prince and Madonna? I find them to be so much alike and love them both.

Nah. Madonna is ugly & her music is crap aside from 'Take A Bow', 'Vogue', the 80s & early 90s shit. Prince is beautiful & has always made good music.

I stopped buying her CDs after Ray of Light.

They're my two favourite artists without question. If you could combine the best elements of the 2 you'd have the ultimate artist in a way. Prince is a magnificent songwriter, musician and showman. Madonna is an outstanding performer, can promote herself better than any other artist, and has a real flare for tapping into whatever is cool. That and she is by far an away the most artistic mainstream performer since bowie. Some of the art she manages to combine into her videos, live performances, and photographs is simply beautiful.

It saddens me that the fruit of their collaboration is only Love Song, totally not worthy of the two. Ideally they should compliment each other perfectly. She should tame some of princes sappier moments, and embarassing forays into areas such as dance, and he should improve the musicianship and overall credibility of her stuff (oh and inject a bit of funk back in her act). I geuss thats why i love them both so much though, what i cant get from one, i am guarenteed from the other.

I like both of them. Madonna gets on my nerves sometimes though. She can be real odd and skanky at times. She's very overrated too.
