I heard yesterday on the radio that Whitney Houston and Billy Joel are both in the hospital or something like that (didn't get the whole story), and that they're both on suicide watch.

WTF, and Billy Joel's new wife asked him for a divorce??? Has anybody else heard about this? I apologize if this is a duplicate post, but I just scanned through like 5 pages of posts (since the search feature is still not working), and I didn't see anything about this subject.

I hope that Whitney and Billy are both getting the help that they need and that they both make a speedy recovery.

I know that they are both in treatment again but the suicide watch rumor was stated by someone at one of the tabloids so I'm not a 100 percent sure I believe that.

Agreed. I was shocked when I heard his marriage was failing and that his mental state of mind was not good.

Yeah, it seems so strange to me. Billy always seemed like a normal guy until the last few years. A man's man....

I wonder if it's alcoholism or something.

I highly doubt their accurate and hope it isn't true. I really want Whitney to get his shit together. I'm not a big Joe fan, but he really needs to get it together too. I mean those car accidents where a damn call for help and it doesn't seem like his Hampton friends where listening!

I´ve always like Whitney and I´ll never understand what MADE her take drugs. Did she start just for fun or what was it? It´s such a shame.

Well, I hate to point the finger of blame, but she didn't get into drugs (from what I heard) until she married that pig Bobby Brown.

But I´v e heard a document about her and there was a piece of footage of them when Bobby was released from jail and she just jumped at him, I mean, it´s obvious sheś CRAZY about him. I don´t know. I just don´t understand it.

Man, both of them better put that pain into song & get their careers back on track

I saw that too. She may be crazy about him, but I don't think he's been a very good influence on her, IMHO. Shoot, with her good looks and talent, she could have gotten ANY guy she wanted. Why she settled for Bobby, I'll never understand.

It seems that most people think that just because he was a "ghetto kid" and her mother was a well-known gospel singer that they are sooooo different! She probably did start for fun just like most of the other cocaine addicts, but I've "heard" that she was into plenty, and perhaps that, before she even MET the (mind you) younger Bobby Brown. Bobby is not Satan and Whitney is not an angel. People, including Whitney, have to take responsibility for themselves. She probably does that. Everybody else wants to blame him.
