just listened for the first time today - and i am definitely impressed. very edgy. probably my favorite since their debut. any other thoughts on this so far? what are ya'll thinking, those who have listened so far.

I'm listening to it for the first time right now actually. Those who were miffed at their direction with Beautiful Garbage, will happy to hear the harder sound. I'm glad they didn't mess around with Shirley's voice to make her sound like a teenage girl this time around, she sounds better and more raw on these tracks.

I was gettin worried after hearing the first single "Why Do You Love Me?" which sounds a 2nd rate Pat Benetar throwaway. But the rest of the album seems to pick up the slack from what I heard so far.

they really dropped off for me with Beautiful Garbage (a rather flawed record). and their new single is quite annoying. unless they have something mindblowing on this album i'm missing out on....well, i'll give it a miss!

gotta say, the album may be as fine as you say, but the artwork is awful. i've never seen a duller looking cover.
