If there's any way you could leave an hour earlier, I'd highly recommend it. It can often take 6 hours. 5 is making really good time. I don't know how you drive and I don't know what construction is like right now (usually pretty awful in Detroit). But I just want to make sure you're not late for the show. | |

the show was great! she did play my request - at which time i literally jumped out of my 7th row seat and screamed! when the crowd quieted down i yelled out a "thank you" and she pulled her face away from the mic and smiled. God, i love this woman. she was definitely on last night! lots of energy, lots of grinding on that stool of hers, throwing the hair around...she was gettin' it! the wait was worth it, as usual, and i'm already looking forward to her returning with the band in the summer. | |

no, these peeps were pushing and yelling at people because they didn't get to be in the front...it was very sad to see adults acting this way. we didn't get to meet up with gangsta...we played phone tag for a minute and then he had to get back in some realistic amount of time so we are making tentative plans for may! and, yes, it would have been great if you came! regardless of meeting up afterwards, you would have had a blast at the show...it was SOOOO good! and yes, the song was just perfection! she didn't do the entire 9 and half minute opus, lol, but she did a good 6 minutes or so and included the whole "We'll SEEEEE" bit! and, girl, you know i cried through practically the whole song!  | |

I know. I've been a hot mess ever since. I would like to write out a review of both shows. We'll see. I'm a little sad that the shows are over however. Her music has been so important to me these last few months. Now that I've read the book, seen the shows and perfected my sets, I'm afraid I might stray.
