i read a review of the Bravery CD - they just formed the band about a year ago, i believe. that's pretty much the definition of overnight success.... assuming they are successful, of course.

Killers Talk Trash to Bravery

The Killers must be full-fledged rock stars: They're talking smack about other artists now.

Brandon Flowers, in an interview with MTV, took a cue from the rap world to invoke a feud with The Bravery, who he says are simply piggybacking on The Killers' success.

"Look at a band like The Bravery. They're signed because we're a band," Flowers said. "I can see The Strokes play or Franz Ferdinand play and it's real, and I haven't gotten that from The Bravery. I think people will see through them."

Members of The Cure, New Order or Duran Duran have yet to level the same criticism toward Flowers about his band's similarities to their work.
