Well she ain't no Janet Jackson, but out of all the new diva's that's been coming out lately I'll say she's a pretty decent artist. What y'all think about her ?

Ciara can't sing and dances like big-bird (as someone else on this board aptly assessed it). No fluidity at all. If you're going to be a dance-R&B star, you at least should be able to dance.

Ciara's vocals are as thin as air,and she's nothing more than a second-rate Aaliyah clone.

Why are we even comparing her to Aaliyah? Because she's working with some of the same producers (e.g. Missy)? I don't really see any other similarities.

I like Ciara for what she is: she looks good, can dance her ass off, and can sing decently enough to decorate the kickass beats that are given to her.

I do! I think she's cool as hell and a great dancer. She is also very sexy and could give Bouncy a run for her money! Not vocally of course but as an entertainer.

I like her. She stays. Although there is obvious Aaliyahness reflecting offa her, she stays.

She's semi-okay. Not the illest thing in the world, but you do dance to her jams at the club --- so there you go.

"Hotline" should (and will) be a single.

Folks like Ciara make me wish that Lauryn Hill could come back onto the scene and show em' how it's done!
