I got attacked when I created a thread on this very subject when season 2 started just because I admitted to watching this tripe. Needless to say I've really fallen off bigtime in this apparently unaware parody, though I'm sure MTV knows what it has on it's hands and are exploiting for maximun effect. That Papa Simpson seems to be unaware of the obvious campiness of his little girls show is telling though.

Well, I've watched it on occassion and she thinks she so "alternative" and "cutting edge" because she has black hair and doesn't sing ballads...I saw a show last week where she felt she was taking a stand on "being herself" because she refused to wear extensions for a video shoot. She said something to the effect of: "I have short hair and that's who I am now." Thank you Ashley for taking a stand... rolleyes
