Z Cult Favorite/"Rock Your Baby" - George McCrae "Rock Your Baby" from George McCrae. This is one of my all - time favorite songs by anyone. From 1974, this song is a one of a kind. From it's beautiful intro, McCrae's flawless vocals and the great, great music and production, it's one of those "magical" songs. Much more than a r&b song. Much more than a disco song. To me, it's something else. Loved this song all of my life. I play the hell out of this in my car. This song sold over 52 million copies, making it one of the biggest records of all time! I've always believed this song inspired ABBA's "Dancing Queen". Anyway, who here digs "Woman, take me in your arms. Rock your baby." SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

I liked the "Rock Your Baby Reprise" that appeared on his album too:
My cut is "I Get Lifted" though. Better than KC & The Sunshine Band's version.

Great song but stations in my area have totally worn the song out to the point that I could go for a while without hearing it again. Andy is a four letter word.

No! I didn't realize they shared their name for that reason. "90% Of Me Is You" - Gwen McCrae
