There has been talks in the news that Donald Trump is going to offer Michael Jackson $80 Mil to perform in his newest casino.

Not yet built, the Donald is going to build a casino in Las Vegas. He wasnt Michael to become a regular act like Sigried and Roy,Circ De Sole, and Celine Dione have. That feels odd. Just a huge entertainer performing is casinos> Casinos are usually designed for older entertainers whom don't like to tour or have lost alot of their audience.

Michael Jackson is huge, sold entire Soccer stadiums uout for 7 nights. Although I an outstandingly glad Michael is finally gonna do some concerts in the COntinetal UNited States but it gonna be nearl impossible to get tickets for several months.

Michael Jackson at any attraction is gonna be more crowd drawing than the attraction itself. Don't wanna know how long you have to wait for tickets.

Actually, I don't think this is going to happen. I just read yesterday that Trump is having second thoughts. He's concerned about the fact that Michael will likely not show for many performances and how much of an insurance issue that would be. Can't say I blame him for the change of mind.

He could do 3 90mins shows / week for a year or so, cash in a big check and sort out some of his financial, legal and other troubles. Followed up by a World Soccer Cup performance, a new recording deal and a new album for summer '06.

Of course this is all very wishfull thinking, and i don't think there's even a 0.0001% chance of something like this becoming reality. He's simply not driven enough to put out new music through hard and disciplined work. Let alone he has the mental clarity for it. It would take someone like Clive Davis and MJ's willingness to accept a 24/7 babysitter to make this work. Not gonna happen. Oh well

I thought this could work. Mike said he hated touring, not because he didn't like seeing new places or performing, but the exhaustion from moving location to location. I thought Vegas would be a nice compromise because he could stay in one spot and let people travel to him instead.

Mike is late to court a couple of times and now all of a sudden he has a reputation for being unreliable . What about the 30 years prior of being a consummate professional? . You guys have a very short memory

Most artists tour every few years.Michael tours once a decade.

If you count once as always, then I guess so . Hates to perform? That's overdoing it and you know it. The man has said many times the place he is most comfortable is on stage. He loves to perform. Touring is another matter.

Other artists haven't been touring since they were 11

I heard this on the radio last week too. It would be like the Celine Deion deal. They would build a venue exclusively for his show and they said the deal would exceed $100 million. I suppose MJ would have to get through this trial first though.

i so hope Jacko doesn't so vegas. Vegas sucks. I do not think Jacko enjoyed it there in the 70's? Plus Jacko would be performing to non fans whcih i think Jacko would not like.

Oh yeah plus Michael still thinks he has it in him to be big commercially again. Vegas is for artists who are finished.
