For some reason i have a bad feeling

Melville is going to let 93 in, because of lack of evidence on the prosecutions side

call it a gut reaction

Yeah, '93 will be in after tomorrow. Does that mean they will use it as pattern tool or will they really get back and put Jordy on the stand?

Its a different day and age...

if 93 leaks in to this case,

this trial could last a year

Cause that would mean

Defense will file motions for discovery, to search for evidence about the 93 case...

Jordy won't testify,

but the other players will...

That could mean contacting an incarcerated Pelicano,
etc...

In order to defeat the pattern of behavior claim they have to discourage
that 93 was a MAJOR conspiracy

That means we need to get Fields, Cochran eyc

Readmit the evidence.. etc

find the tapes etc...

this trial could be longer than Oj simpson

For tomorrow's ruling, I just hope the judge puts out one rule: the boys themselves have to testify, or you cannot mention it. I mean, this would be (somewhat) fair to both parties, although you could argue that because of the weakness of the current case none of it should be allowed. It will be an interesting day for sure.

Disclaimer: i'm quite drunk so sorry for any mis-spells

Judge Allows Past Jackson Allegations
By TIM MOLLOY, Associated Press Writer

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - The judge in Michael Jackson (news)'s child molestation trial ruled Monday that the prosecution may present testimony about past allegations against the pop star involving five boys, including two who reached multimillion-dollar civil settlements with the singer

Superior Court Judge Rodney Melville ruled after hearing arguments by District Attorney Tom Sneddon and vigorous opposition by defense attorney Thomas Mesereau Jr.

The judge said he would allow testimony about alleged sexual offenses and an alleged pattern of "grooming," or preparing the boys for molestation.

The prosecution had sought to introduce testimony about seven boys, but the judge declined to allow evidence about two.

The judge said he would allow testimony by a 1990 accuser who received a $2.4 million settlement from Jackson and testimony by that boy's mother.

A boy who reached a multimillion-dollar settlement from Jackson in 1993 will not testify. Other testimony will be allowed from people who allegedly have knowledge of the case.

The judge said the jury can be told that Jackson reached settlements with the 1990 and 1993 accusers but may not be told the amounts, unless the defense brings them up.

...and it was going all so well this far....well the only good thing I can see about this is if MJ wins this, he´ll be cleared from it all and there shouldn´t be any doubt of his innocence whatsoever....

At least it will be interesting to have 3 of those 5 boys testify in court that nothing ever happened, a 4th one not showing up, and a 5th one that was alledgedly touched over his clothes when he was 9 and who only got a settlement 4 years later after the '93 settlement and after his mother sold her story to some tabloid magazine.

If he didn't do anything in '93, '90 or 2003, then that begs the question: why would you be that upset?

Clearly, the jury hearing the allegations doesn't help Jackson, but if you maintain that they are not true, then why worry about them so?

I don´t know. But can you imagine the stupid media? I can see the headlines tomorrow. 5 MORE VICTIMS!!!

Well, the media will exploit anything. Which is why MJ shoulda stayed away from them boys AFTER 1993.

I know, but I just hope it´s not gonna make the trial last twice as long. I can´t wait when this shit is over.

I know, but I am not pissed off that the media are talking about it. I am just pissed off that they cannot get the facts straight over here and post just the prosecution´s shit. Well, at least over here in Czech republic. Gavin´s testimony made headlines and Messarau´s cross examination was totally ignored. That´s what pisses me off. That one sided attitude concluding he´s guilty. Cause no matter how many "victims" are there or how many times he´s paid, it´s still ridiculous. 7 alleged victims makes headlines and that 5 of them claim nothing ever happened is ignored. I konw that the fact that he paid makes it suspicious, but still where is ANY proof of it? So far it´s just one stupid soup opera that makes NO SENCE at all.

But hey guys, just ignore me. I will cool down soon. biggrin Let´s wait for the defence story. All we´ve heard so far was just the prosecution´s side which is weak by itself already.
