News is coming in from Warner Music info for deutchMarkt is that a German release date for the Re-Invention tour DVD has been provisionally set for 04 December 2005.

More interesting news is that there is a possible new single release in June (maybe to help cross-promote the tour documentary) and the news that a follow-up to the 1995 ballad collection Something To Remember will follow in December 2005.



Another ballad collection? What in the world would she put on it? Her ballads have been pretty danceable in the last 10 years.

I can't imagine another ballad collection...maybe.

That's not much of a collection. The songs aren't among her biggest hits, either (memorable yes, but memorable enough for a whole new collection?). A much wiser move would be a multi disc follow up to "You Can Dance", although that should have been done a long ass time ago. A new single in June would rock. At first when I read the title, I thought it was about Nicole Richie (although a Miss still). Apparently, she is really talented. I love "The Simple Life".

I've heard about this ballads collection. Seems like a wound licking kind of thing after the American Life mess. There are plenty of songs she could include but I don't really understand the point. Why tread water with that when she's supposedly been in the studio for months?

The thing I noticed looking over this list is that the older material wouldn't mesh well with the newer on a compilation. If this rumor is true (which I hope it's not) she should just stick to the post Evita stuff. Hopefully she'll have the sense to stick on some album tracks, b-sides and new songs to make it somewhat interesting.

yeah, that would be ideal. although, i think she could get away with putting on a few of the Erotica/Bedtime Stories tracks as well, although there really are very few that are needed. Bad Girl is the only one that's essential from Erotica that hasn't turned up on a comp before. and Secret would be an obvious choice for BS, although it's already been included on GHV2, as have several of the ROL ballads. Sanctuary would be a good choice though....

The other possibility is that this compilation is just a way to get out of her contract.She owes Warners two more albums.Perhaps the new studio album will count as one,and the ballads compilation will count as the other one?
