... [Edited 3/24/05 11:46am] Again, another one of my all time faves. I have the vhs and dvd. This is another film I have seen countless times. Know the dialouge inside out. I got the soundtrack when it first came out, and yeah, besides The Warriors Theme, "In The City" by Joe Walsh is the best thing on there. There are a few scenes Prince "borrowed" from this film that are in "Purple Rain". Also, he took a line from this film and used it on Vanity 6's "If A Girl Answers, Hang Up" The line is "Why don't you just tie a matress to your back". "She cut me! She cut me!" One of my all-time favorite movies. I saw it several times in the theater when it came out. I don't remember seeing favorite movies listed on this board, so I am going to lay some of my other faves out there and see if anyone else appreciates them. Let me say I am a sci-fi, horror and comedy aficionado.
Apocalypse Now Road Warrior Aliens Terminator T2 Evil Dead 2 Dawn of the Dead (both versions) The Matrix Jaws Empire Strikes Back American Beauty English Patient The Ring Fish Called Wanda Monty Python and the Holy Grail Life of Brian Ruthless People Re-Animator Videodrome Pulp Fiction Blue Velvet Mulholland Dr. The Outlaw Josey Wales Purple Rain Stop Making Sense Sign 'O' the Times Highway to Hell A Film About Jimi Hendrix Goldfinger Thunderball Richard Prior in Concert (all his concert movies) Those are some that come to mind at the moment.
