If you want a well rounded greatest hits package for Fela, I'd suggest
The 2000 MCA Records release: The Best Best of Fela Kuti 2CD set. If you wanna try an album, I suggest: Expensive Shit/He Miss Road.

The Bronze Liberace? The Living Flame? The Georgia Peach? Little Richard's original hits were on the Specialty label, so if you look for that name, you'll be sure to get the real deal. There is a comprehensive box set available, if you're wanting to get it all in one swoop. There are also two single cd sets available, breaking up the Specialty years into 2 volumes . . . If you want to hear the most explosive version of 'Lucille' he ever did, check out Vol. 1 of his Vee-Jay recordings (from his first come-back). . . As far as Fela goes . . .I've never heard a bad record from him. But since you're asking for a recommendation, this one he did with Roy Ayers, 'Music of Many Colors' is worth checkin.
