Rene Diggs of Starpoint passed away Friday. Didn't see what the cause was. Man I loved her voice and that band. Sorry if this has already been posted. Bringing Together Five Decades of R&B/Funk/Soul/Dance

The first Starpoint song I ever heard was "It's All Yours". It represents a time when I was just discovering music in the early 80s. How sad. I still have the 7" of "Restless". | |

Sorry to hear this. My favorite Starpoint was their 1981 jam called "Keep On It" back when they were on Casablanca/Chocolate City Records. Not too many people remember that jam.
