Background vocals on Chaka's "I'm Every Woman"

I was just watching an old VH1 Driven special about Whitney Houston and Chaka Khan was on there (new footage) saying Cissy Houston and her daughter Whitney (born in 1963 so however old that is) sang Background Vocals on "I'm Every Woman"! biggrin

Sounded like Chaka respects her talent too. I've read so many quotes of Chaka bad-talking folks that I was surprised! lol

Puts Whitney's 1992 remake in a different light I think. hmmm

Yeah, Cissy & Whit-Whit(not credited) sang back-up for the song. They also sang back-up alot for CK's album Naughty and Whit-Whit was credited this time.

I remember her dissing Whitney's version(b4 they made the video) back in 1992 in Bluse & Soul magazine saying "Can't the bitch find something original" lol

She was fiery to the people who covers her material back then(unlike now) like how Kanye fucks up a good song and she walks around kissing his ass whenever she goes disbelief

Thats my bobo tho love

I smell irony in the ass kissing. The last time I saw Chaka perform on tv, she was doing Kanye's song with him, warbling so calculatingly off key.
