The superbowl incident destroyed Janet's career.
Michael's career was already destroyed back in 1993 when he was accused of child abuse. Jack Gordan destroyed Latoya's career. Jermaine destroyed his own career by dissing his own brother Michael on the song "Word to the Badd".  | |

No offense, but Latoya never really had a career. Janet was lucky that her brother was Michael because that most likely helped her get signed. I have to disagree on Michael's career being over in 1993. His HIStory ablum has sold 18 million to date which is great. His ablum sales only dropped 10 percent. Janet's has dropped like 80 percent. | |

Mike didn't fall right away(it was an anticipation to see what he would do next after he settled.) As I've stated on many threads, when he walked on that stage at the 1994 Mtv awards, he was still the biggest thing in music, then he kissed Lisa Marie, then he released an over priced album and didn't bother to tour the states.....if he woulda came back with a hot album with a lot of singles, things would have been different in the U.S. | |

Its just such HYPOCRISY. So many across AMERICA claim 2 have been so OFFENDED by this "Wardrobe Malfunction" However, these are the same people..who purchase pornography, have x-tra martial affairs, and commit other so called "sins" I think it has alot 2 do w/ seeing a black woman's breast.. b/c let's face it, most of those whom were offended WERE white folks. This event was held in A SOUTHERN state. No offense 2 southerns, but these people are not the most progressive BUNCH.... Hundreds of people called the police 2 launch complaints!! Gimme a break... Others use the argument that this was a family past time and if that's the case that is sad. Families shouldn't be spending quality time watching football or tv in that matter. That's why we have so much youth that have no sense of responsibility or self worth. Whether she intended 2 show her bra or breast...does it really matter?
