JerseyKRS -- You hip hop fiend!! So, I had some free CD's to cash in on my BMG club. I've been listening to alot of rock lately, so I figured, let me get some hip hop that I lost when my car got robbed years and years ago. Here's what I ordered:
Beastie Boys - Paul's Boutique (sample crazy!!) KRS One - Return of the Boom Bap (KRS' first solo joint, when this shit dropped, OMG!) NWA - Straight Outta Compton (brings great memories of being young) Dr Dre - The Chronic (another one, when this dropped, EVERYONE played it) and the creme de la creme.....drumroll..... (I can't believe BMG actually carries this.....) Ultramagnetic MC's - Critical Beatdown NOW THAT'S REAL HIP HOP!!! This album is so incredible in every way. Ced gee did the production, he also did most of criminal minded, just didn't get the credit. Kool Kieth's old school style is insane!! Flipping words like it's nothing. Plus, this is remastered and also includes some bonus tracks, mainly the singles that dropped on the mix tapes and clubs before the album came out, such as: the original mix of Funky and Travelling at the speed.... (the ones on the album was a remix, but the first was the hot shit) The singles Bait and A Chorus Line (with Tim Dog....Fuck Compton!! remember that?) | |
