The Bloods "Button Up"

Any fans of this song? I just discovered it recently, even though it's been in my music collection for quite a while...just one of those overlooked gems, I suppose.

The song came out in the late '70s/early '80s and it sounds a bit like a more rock-infused version of a Shannon song (as in "Let The Music Play"). What I found really interesting about this song is that The Bloods were an all-female band and their song "Button Up" is about Lesbian S&M. omfg

And I think it is the perkiest, poppiest, catchiest tribute to sapphic S&M that I've ever heard. nod

Why did I think this was a gangsta rap CD?
