I don't remember any popular records on the back of cereal boxes but I definately remember when cereal boxes used to do that.

I remember cutting out a Halloween record from the back of a "Count Chocula" cereal box. It used to trip me out watching that cardboard square turning on the turntable. lol

And my mom used to swoon when Bobby Sherman was on the back of Post's Raisin Bran, (go figure).
