Ok, Kelly Clarkson's in the Top 5

"Since U Been Gone" inches up to #5, and Green Day's at #2. At least there's some dilution of the 50 Cent shit that's clogging the charts right now.

Kelly difinately has staying power. Unlike most pop stars, she hasn't really embarassed herself yet (unlike Avril and Chirstina, who oddly, have co-wrote to of her big hits) and seems really cool. In the begining, she seemed posed to be a one hit radio wonder ("Miss Indepedent") but this new album is really turning things around. I'd be interested in hearing the full CD. I think she's hear to stay.

I don't know how to explain it other than he's WAY TOO brit for the US. Although he did manage to 'break' the gay crowd here.

Who had the first biggest contract with EMI? Yeah, he's tried like three times but it hasn't happened for him. It's pretty hard for forgeiners in general to break through in America, especially pop.

Kinda like Oasis. Which is a group I used to be a big fan of in my younger days. Both them and Robbie are cheeky in interviews. In general i think ameirca likes their acts to be polite all the time and laugh at Jay Leno's lame jokes etc biggrin

I saw Ricky Gervias (I love the office) on David Letterman. Ricky was totally himself. David seemed a bit miffed as to wtf Ricky was doing?

(U Americans etc.. have seen the office right?)

"The Office" is one of the greatest show ever and plays on BBC America (or did) which I'm not sure is the widely available. However, I'm pretty darn sure a lot more people were exposed to it via DVD, whether they bought them or rented them. Their making an American verison which I thought was blasphemy HOWEVER the commericals are looking mighty funny! It could be a huge hit. The two times I've seen Ricky on Lettermen, he was really funny. I think Lettermen really likes him.
