I was one of those latecomers who got into them at Walking Wounded. But I love that album, Tempermental and Amplified Heart. Her voice is just gorgeous.

They need to put something out, stat!

yeah i love their "missing you (like the desert miss the rain)" song...

They used to be one of my favorite groups - they still exist, but unfortunately, now they spend all of their time putting out remixes - of both their own stuff, and other people's music...funny that they started out with Pop/Jazz/Folk/Soul leanings--kinda in the same bag as Sade, Swing Out Sister, and the Style Council, but after 1995, they slowly turned into an electro-dance/club unit, and seem to have lost any interest in the live, warm sound they once had. As such, their catalog is pretty varied....I'm still hoping for a new album eventually, but I'm sure not holding my breath...

I also highly recommend Home Movies, the greatest hits compilation EBTG released back in '93. While it predates "Missing", it is more comprehensive than any of the collections that followed. Since I already had Amplified Heart anyway, the compilation suited me just fine.

I downloaded "Corcovado (Knee Deep Classic Club Mix)" and "Before Today", and I was satisfied...
