What do you think about it?

There are a few I've heard in car commercials that sound really cool, but I have no idea who they're by.

The current Mercedes Benz commercial has this hard beat with a distorted guitar or bass chugging along.

And there was one from a few years back in I believe a Volkswagon ad. I actually looked it up back then and found the song. But since then, I can't remember the artist.

What's the best way to find this out?

there's a web site that indexes songs used in commercials, but for the life of me i can't remember its name. with a little googlition, you should be able to hunt it down.

and i don't mind songs by bands i like being in commercials. if it's gonna give them money to fund their next project, then i say go for it.
