nod Its amazing. Their 3 voices pack more power and "emotion" than a lot of choirs. I havent done the organized religion thing(church) in years, but that scene takes me back to my great grandmother in her cat glasses and hat waiving fans and swaying in the pew.

I got teary eyed off their performance. Those women are awesome. If you have a chance to see them perform, definitely do so.

Rufus Thomas in his pink getup and white boots doing the Funky Chicken brought the house down. Talk about doing too much. We couldn't forget that one.
"Funkyslsistah… you ain't funky at all, you just a little ol' prude"!
"It's just my imagination, once again running away with me."

Now Harley, don't you remember me making a thread about this back in October/November 2004? Where you been, girl?! lol

Yeah, their version was awesome, but the album version is better (until you get to the very end...I think Wanda and Sheila were tired 'cause they didn't quite hit their notes boxed but it's actually quite hilarious. )

Go get it now!

I only have the DVD boxed

I want to get this instead:

Kim Weston was pretty soulful too, I wish they kept her to do another solo nod

They've got all that on the above CD I mentioned. The only difference being is that it's been remastered.

But this one is a 3 CD set, the other one has only the highlights.
