Yo, show some love for Stryper!

Who remembers the christian rockers that rocked yello and black!

Weren't they sooooo cheesy?? Gotta give em props though for keeping it real with god.

They were the original Creed!

i love their hit song "Honestly"

[Verse 1]
Honestly, I believe in you
Do you trust in me
Patiently, I will stand by you
I will stand beside you faithfully

[Bridge]
And through the years
I will be a friend
For always and forever

[Chorus]
Call on me and I'll be there for you
I'm a friend who always will be true
And I love you can't you see
That I can say I love you honestly

[Solo]

[Chorus 2]
Call on me and I'll be there for you
I'm a friend who always will be true
And I love you can't you see
That I love you honestly
I will never betray your trust in me
And I love you can't you see
That I can say I love you honestly

They probably have boxes full of them in the back because they're the only vintage ones that aren't selling. lol

Whenever I think of Stryper, which is hardly ever, I just think of Beavis and Butthead. They had this geeky classmate that they'd play pranks on and steal from, etc. He always wore a Stryper t-shirt. lol

Gotta love those outfits! By the way, I read an interview once with Wyclef and he said he used to listen to Stryper when he was a kid! Shocking but it must be true. Would you ever say you liked Stryper if you didn't? Hardly makes you sound cool does it.

I liked them. Fuck being cool. I haven't listened to them since 1988, but I won't pretend like I didn't once have questionable musical tastes. I even saw them in concert...twice!
