Geri Halliwell-any new album news?

I love how in Europe how much they care about singles and in some cases release them well before an album is even mentioned! In the case of Geri Halliwell, for example, does anyone know what is going on. I love "Ride It" and am not sure if I should get the single or wait for a full album...will it be released in America (I doubt it highly). Anyone heard anything?

Vast quantities of Geri's new album were last seen being dumped under a rock in Utah. Happy hunting. thumbs up!

She does need me...I'm probably the only person to buy "Scream If You Wanna Go Faster" as a regularly priced import!

That album was but I really liked the first one. I've told this story before but I remember hearing this one song on the radio and really liking it when I was in Italy. Then in a hotel room I saw a video with Geri Halliwell and it was that song, "Mi Chico Latino". When I came home, I bought that CD and Kid Rock's "Devil Without A Cause" and both are pretty great discs.

'Scream If You Wanna Go Faster' wasn't released in the U.S. so I had to trek to Canada to get the Canadian release. I like that album more than the first one. The music is a lot more sophisticated. I actually listen to a collection of Geri's b-sides more than either CD, however. In the right order, the b-sides make up a pretty decent collection:

1. Brave New World
2. New Religion
3. Breaking Glass
4. Very Slowly
5. Live and Let Die
6. G.A.Y.
7. Getting Better
8. These Boots Are Made For Walking
9. Summertime
10. Destiny
11. Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps

That's a whole lot of B-sides! Europe is so lucky to have proper singles. Was the trip to Canada worth it? I'm not sure the distance or how inconvenat a trip from NYC to Canada is. No stores had the import (what about that world famous Virgin Mega Store)? I was shocked to see it at (as well as Victoria's release around the time it came out) at a Media Play available as an import. I think it was $20..might have been more.

I was in Toronto anyway visiting relatives and made certain not to leave town before going to the mall (Eaton's Center) and getting the CD. Canadian imports are very difficult to find in the states for some reason.

I've noticed that too. You'd think that in Michigan you'd get a lot of Canadain CDs. The Geri CD might have been from Canada but most of the time when I get imports, they tend to be from Germany.

Yeah, I can find all sorts of U.K., German, even Austrailian imports in NY before I find any from Canada.
