New Order previews

www.amazon.co.uk is previewing tracks from New Order's upcoming Waiting For The Siren's Call LP, offering a different track each day.

Go to http://www.amazon.co.uk/e...82-2653415 and click on the New Order banner towards the top of the page.

Today it's the title track. Sounds so-so to me, a bit wishy-washy but maybe it's a grower....

Anyone else heard it yet..?

Sounds ok on first listen. the beat of this and "krafty" both remind me
quite a lot of "Technique".

the clip is too damn short though

I give a big thumbs up for the entire album!

I have only listened to it a few times, so I cannot give a very good review, but the album is definately better than their previous album. My fave for now is Guilt Is A Useless Emotion.

For the right price, I don't see the harm it could do.

Except, maybe, the risk I could take your eye out with this beast.....?

Oh, lordy, it's so pretty.
It sounds instantly classic New Order. I can't wait! When's the US date?

According to Amazon.com, April 26th

There isn't a song on Earth that can make me feel the same weird feelings I get when I hear Run disbelief

There are a few more clips up there now....

Hmm, it all sounds a bit mid-paced and samey to me, but then so did Get Ready at first and that album really got under my skin.

It sounds less like any other New Order stuff and much more like the last Electronic album, Twisted Tenderness (which was, in parts, a great record).
