Her official website stated earlier that it would be released the last quarter of 2005. Which means you won't see nothing until September at the earliest.

Yeah,it looks like we won't get it until the fall. Her documentary 'The Re-Invented Process' will debut in May,so that's probably why she's saving the actual tour DVD until later. From what I hear,it will be a 2-DVD set. Will the second disc contain the documentary? confuse

Yeah right, Madonna DVDs are notorious for shoddy packaging. We'll be lucky if we get the entire show on the DVD. She'll probably pull another Virgin Tour and take out 3 or 4 songs and put in a friggin' Kabbalah commercial or someshit.

And the extras on these DVDs sucked. Girlie Show is forgivable because it came out in 1993. There was a lot of stuff that she could've put on the Drowned World DVD (ie: her performance of You'll See, the tour specials that were filmed, the videos that were shown on the screen behind her). Also, remember how she took out the sample in Holiday, I'll bet she either removes it from Don't Tell Me or takes it off the DVD altogether.

The cut in the Virgin Tour was not her idea. It was Warner Bros. they didn't feel that Madonna had the staying power so there was no point investing in a full length concert video. Just get the popular songs on it and milk it for all it was worth while she was still here. Little did they know she'd still be around 20 years after the Virgin Tour,

She's being pushed around and fondled by her dancers during 'Burning Up'
& 'Borderline'...Nothing shocking if u see it now, but at the time
Warner feared it would b 'difficult' 2 market 2 her core teen girl audience what with tipper gore breathing down their neck. Last year her ex-manager Caresse mentioned she would like 2 c a full Virgin Tour DVD release including
the cut performances..of course she's a-gonna now.

The Drowned World dvd was subject to all sorts of creative editing I didn't appreciate. Instead of seeing the dance that ends the geisha act, we get the anime video that was playing behind them. I loved the choreography when I saw it live, and the dancers worked hard on it, obviously. Why not use the cartoon as a dvd extra?
