somebody must, considering all the albums he's sold. though i can't, for the life of me, imagine the kind of person that would. except my mother.... confused

C'mon he's not that bad. lol Although I do prefer Peter Gabriel 10 times more than Phil.

no, he isn't that bad. that's the point. he's not that anything. he's just sort of there, with his bland looks, and his bland life, and his bland music. after 20 years, i think we've discovered why the drummer in a band usually doesn't get the limelight: he has nothing to say and no particular creative spark. and i was a drummer myself, for god's sake lol

I like Phil. Admittedly, he hasn't done anything interesting since 1993 or so, but he is a great musician and songwriter. The evidence is all over his music with Genesis and his solo works up through 1986. Also, his album "Both Sides" from 1993 is a very underrated album.

He played drums on that huge buckingham Palace concert a few years back. He adapted to loads of different artists and drummed on them all. It was a various artists tribute to the Queen's Silver julbilee or something?

He drums on Eric Claptons "august" too.

He co-wrote a really nice song called "the quiets too loud" on Lamont Doziers "inside seduction" album. He also produces some tracks I think?

Co-sign, mine too. Phil had a new song out recently, think it was called "Don't Let Him Steal Your Heart Away." Has anybody heard it? I love that song, it's very catchy and good.

I love Genesis and Peter Gabriel too, they were hot during the 80's.
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

For real? I never heard it before (as you probably already figured out). giggle The song is on a new CD that was just released recently. From what I heard, it's got different Phil Collins love songs on it. smile
