Wats your style whn it comes to listening to albums?

When you listen to an album, do you listen to it all the way through, or do you only listen to certain tracks. I for one like to listen to albums from start to finish, but wat do the rest of u do?
oh my lord, where did i hear that one before?

Hmmmmm, I usually take the tracks one at a time. And if I gotta do something else, then I just stop listening and come back to it later.

My brother hears the first few seconds of each track first. So he is completely different to me.....

It depends on the album really

If it's a good album i'll listen to it from start to finish.

If it's Gwen Stefani's album, then i'll listen to 2 or 3 tracks i like and put it back to rot on the shelf

That is why I like LPs. You just put it on, sit back and enjoy. It seems like ever since the cd came along, albums have been less thorough. Like you play the first 3 tracks and those are the best. It could be just me though.

I never hear albums all the way through. I can barely name 1 album that is great ALL THE WAY THROUGH. I just wanna hear so much in a short space of time that I always hear one track from this album and one track from that etc.....

I play the entire cd. I seldom ever skip songs. I don't buy a ton of cd's so when I do buy, I'm quite sure I will like it so there isn't a need to skip songs.

Same here! Or I like to take an album in 4 or 5 track "experiences." D'Angelo's Voodoo album and NIN's Downward Spiral are good for that!

The last 2 songs on Voodoo are my favourite, so I have to listen all the way through to hear them. wink
