WHOOOO-HOOO!!!!!

I just bought tickets today for the Gang of Four show here in NY coming up in May. Oh, man, this is gonna be sweet!!!!! I bought 2 tickets for me and my friend/bandmate. He's not a big fan like me, but he's still interested in going though.

I had never thought in a million years that this legendary band that I love would reunite, but here they are. I heard them shows they did in the UK were fantastic, and they're still at the top of their game. Pretty impressive considering that they hadn't played together in 23 years.

Now some folk may be thinking that they're just doing this to capitalise on the success of these young Alternative/Post-Punk/Indie bands, many of them influenced by Go4. But I don't look at it as such. I see this as the original guys taking these young cats to school; showing them how it's done. And I'm pretty sure they will.

Radio 4 is a NY based band and one of the many tat were influenced by Gang of Four's militant Punk/Dance sound. They're gonna be the opening act for the legends. I've seen them live before too, and they're pretty awesome.

Anyways, FUCK YEAH, I'm gonna see one of my all-time favorite bands!!!!!

The Minneapolis show coincides with period end at work, so I can't go.

Shit.



But I'm genuinely happy you're able to go. That will be a once in a lifetime show.

That's awesome. I really want to go too, but I'll have to travel to see them. I'm sure it's worth it though.
