Mariah - We Belong Together CD Rip Sounds like Butterfly-era material. Nothing particularly distinctive but at least it's pretty, melodic, and she's actually SINGING (no whisper shit!). I'd certainly rather hear this than anything else that's on the radio at the moment.

Even though this is a very pop-wise material it captures some of her most honest singing (voice and phrasing) in years (it's audible on the "i try to keep it together / but I'm fallin' apart" line). And lyrics are satisfactory, at least as for a pop song.
AND YEAH SHE FINALLY SINGS AGAIN!!! Man this week is so good to me. First Stevie with his super cut and now Mariah with such a surprise. The Morales mix of her 'It's like That' is also pretty good. I'm not mad at you, I'm mad at the dirt. | |

Not that I need or want this single, but is there any rhyme or reason to what sort of bootleg offers do and don't get snipped? There was a whole thread offering to make mixed CDs of Tori Amos music for anyone that wanted them and nothing happened. | |

I didn't see the Tori thread, my apologies.
I download mp3's all the time and have nothing against it personally. I didn't want to be a scrooge about it, but if the org starts becoming a common place share downloads like that, it can get us in hot water. | |
