hmmmm that's pretty vague can you remember anything else? We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color. Maya Angelou

when you said they were talking in French,I immediately thought of "Bon Bon Vie" by TS Monk (1980) but as far as I know, there's no gunshot on that song,is there?

naww it wasn't that (that used to be my jam, though.."gimme the bon bon bon bon bon bon vie...i'm talking the good life or something like that..)....the song i'm taking about it was slow kinda sultry, the whole thing might not have been in french, i'm pretty sure it wasn't, but the main thing you remember about it is this gunshot right in the middle of the damn song...my oldest brother and i (he's 41, i'm 36) both remember it but neither of us can remember the title so we can see who can find it and download it first and send it to the other you look better on your facebook page than you do in person

male lead vocals? or female? strong horns? what type of radio station played it? quiet storm? or urban RB? We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color. Maya Angelou

aiight..just talked to my brother in W VA...he says it might be called femme fatale...but we think the gist of the song is that somebody gets caught cheating on somebody and gets shot...the police come in at the end of the song and they are speaking french as well...it wasn't a HUGE hit on the quiet storm but they played it quite regularly, you look better on your facebook page than you do in person

There was a song by Petula Clark called Rebecca. It was released about 1969. It's about some lady that tries to take Petula's man, only to be killed by Petula. There is a gunshot in that song. I don't recall french lyrics, but I do not really remember one way or the other. Petula did a lot of songs with french lyrics, however. a psychotic is someone who just figured out what's going on
