Gino Vannelli Aside from the hair, does anyone remember Gino Vanelli's hits,
Living Inside Myself and I Just Wanna Stop? I still really love these songs. [Edited 3/8/05 10:00am] Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

Yes, I sure do remember him. He's a Canadian boy. I saw him on tv last spring promoting his latest cd. Nice to see that he's still making music.

Oh, yeah! I loved those two songs, especially I Just Wanna Stop... " I've got six things on my mind --you're no longer one of them." - Paddy McAloon, Prefab Sprout

Nice 2 see that I'm not the only one who still likes and remembers him. I love both those songs and "living inside myself" is a great dramatic ballad...

I'll admit to having owned a vinyl copy of...
...The Gist of the Gemini I heard Love of My Life and Fly into This Night on FM a lot. Graham Lear provided some great drumming on this record along with Jay Graydon on guitar. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...rmusic.htm "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."

Living Inside Myself and I Just Wanna Stop? I still really love these songs. How can you not love those songs, especially I Just Wanna Stop? Any song that starts out with a line like, "When I think about those nights in Montreal." As cheesy as he is, Fly Into This Night is a really groovy song!

When I think about those nights in Montreal... That line is one of the reasons why I love this song. I'm going to look into more of his music. I should have known he was Canadian.

I actually saw Gino live back when "I Just Wanna Stop" was out. I think I was in high school and the reason I went because one of my girlfriend's mom had a HUGE crush on him and bought tickets. He was great live--amazing pipes and a lot of energy. Loved his early albums.
