sassy's tori song du jour marys of the sea
Hey I am not in your way Hey no need to push me again I know it's your day in the sun Last time I checked he came to light the lamp for everyone "Relax love" he said before he left "Take those hands away from your eyes From where I stand you're in my sky" You must go must flee For they will hunt you down You and your unborn seed In all of Gaul is there safety? Les Saint Marie de la Mer You will dance the ring Marys of the Sea The lost bride weeps Les Saint Marie de la Mer We will dance your ring Hey there's a new Jerusalem Hey you built on rock that's on sand For now you have hijacked the son Last time I checked he came to light the lamp for everyone I hear a voice and it says "The red of the red rose is its own And something no man can divide" So St. Jermaine hear the prayer of this supplicant For two scarlet women, Black Madonna Hey I am not in your way Hey no need to push me again I know it's your day in the sun I know it's your day in the sun Hey I am not in your way Hey no need to push me again I know it's your day in the sun Last time I checked he came to light the lamp for everyone

The best song on the album. "You need people like me so you can point your fuckin' fingers and say, "That's the bad guy." "

2005 yeah, i noticed the 'tox friendly tori back when "welcome to sunny florida" came out, lol. the pictures you sampled, though, don't provide the best comparison. other than different lighting (or make up), slightly different hair, and better cared for brows, there is little difference.

Who saw the "MadTV" "Desperate Housewives" skit? Until they did that send up I really didn't realize that any of the girls had botox, but it's obvious that at least Marcia Cross and Terri Hatcher has it. I won't even bring up the formerly sexy Nicolette Sheridan.

I love nearly the whole record, but I've really been feeling "Martha's Foolish Ginger" this past week.

I like Toast too. To me, it fills the same spot that Twinkle did on Pele. A short, sentimental, bittersweet ending to a massive epic.

I've been really feeling "Mother Revolution" today. I love her description of this song on the bonus DVD.
Hearing or reading her discuss her work makes a huge difference in understanding it.

Why can't people just age gracefully these days. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

I just hope Ireland never makes it to your Tori Song du Jour. That's one song I'm pretty positive will never make it on my list of favorites....and my mind changes constantly. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

I think it was you I was talking to when I saw Tori on Carson Daly and you mentioned you like "Sleeps With Butterflies" better in it's album version then her solo piano performance. Now I consider myself an old school Tori fan which basically means I love solo piano Tori. I must mention that I heard her Carson version first. Suffice it to say I like the solo version better which may account for the fact that it was the first version I heard or that I prefer solo Tori. The question to the thread is, which Tori do you prefer, band Tori or solo piano Tori?

The question to the thread is, which Tori do you prefer, band Tori or solo piano Tori? wrong person...but i do prefer the studio version to the version from the carson daly show. i love solo tori! i would take solo tori over a band anyday. that's not to say i don't dig the band stuff, because i do, just not as much as tori and her b3 or piano or both. now, if we were comparing the version of sleeps with butterflies from the record and the one from breakfast with the arts, i'd be all over the breakfast with the arts version.

Cars & Guitars too. Personally, I don't get it. I think they're two of the catchiest, most fun songs on the whole album. I pretty much love the whole album, but Ribbons Undone is the one I find myself skipping sometimes. It's a momentum killer for me. The sentiment is nice, but it's a bit sugary. I've never seen Tori live with a band. I still kick myself that I missed the Choirgirl club tour. I fell out with Tori around that time and haven't seen her live since '96. So I can't really compare whether I like her better solo or with a band. That said, I get equal enjoyment out of her studio work with or without a band.
