The Breeders - Last Splash

I think U meant "Cannonball"?
geek
When it seems like everything is going your way, you're probably driving in the wrong lane.

Yes, you're right. I got the album name a verse in the song confused. duh

Anyway, here's some more tunes:

Mazzy Star - Fade Into You
Nikka Costa - Like A Feather
Gina G - Ooh Ahh...Just A Little Bit
Better Than Ezra - Good
The Lemonheads - Into Your Arms
Khia - My Neck, My Back
Nada Surf - Popular
Green Jello - Three Little Pigs
Something For The People - My Love Is The Shhh.. (feat. Trina and Tamara)
Public Announcement - Body Bumpin' (Yippie-Yi-Yo)
Planet Soul - Set You Free
Monifah - Touch It
Joe Public - Live and Learn

typing

Lemonheads did a kick ass cover of "Mrs. Robinson" not to mention "It's A Shame About Ray". Neither, sadly, charted on the pop charts.

Lauryn Hill's "Doo Wop (That Thing)").
.

can she be considered a solo one hit wonder? lol

how did xfactor do on the charts?

Well, "Everything Is Everything" was a regular feature on the Viacom networks, so she doesn't fall in the 1HW cat.

"Ex Factor" and "Everything Is Everything" both hit the top Forty. Not a one hit wonder.

Fu-Schnickens - What's Up Doc? (Can We Rock?)

Leaders of the New School - Case of the PTA ? (I know Sobb Story used to be on MTV, but I don't really consider that a hit)

3rd Bass - Gas Face

Hi-Five - I Like The Way (The Kissing Game)

They also had a hit with "Sweet Dreams".

You came up with a good list, though. I'm downloading a lot of those songs you mentioned.

I forgot about Sixpence. In Detroit (well, mostly the lite rock station that plays in Detroit and Canada) their verison of "Don't Dream It's Over" got airplay for well over a year, so it was a hit here, despite the fact that it seemed to be playing even though the band had been broken up and the album was all but forgotten.

I can't tell you how much I hate Sixpence None the Richer, especially for their blasphemous cover of Don't Dream It's Over. Everywhere I went a few summers ago, I was tortured by their abomination. I hate the lead singer, I hate her voice, I hate her Christian pixie image. I hate Freddie Prinze Jr for giving them a break with is piece of shit movies.

uzi Sixpence None the Richer
