Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd

The second guitar solo in this song is the last word on solos, in my book. There need never be another solo written; I've never heard an instrument so expressive in my entire life. bow Gilmore bow

Hi Slash. I see you are a newbie, and just wanted to let you know that you don't have to post a new post every time you want to add something. You can list them all at once, or go back and edit your original post to add to it. Otherwise, you may run out of posts. They put a limit on how many you can do. nod

RocknRollDave

Anone familiar with a track called La Villa Strangiata (spelling?0 by , ahem, Rush?

There is a BEAUTIFUL guitar solo in the middle of this instrumental track. Starts off with a clean, reverby, very subtle and understated, bluesey bit, and builds up into a huge rock effort. And that's just the solo, the song itself covers even more ground.

I'm not a big fan of Rush, but this solo gets me every time.
