Rock Comeback in full swing now!

half of the sales totals are in on this weeks billboard album chart but so far in the top 50

#7 Mars Volta
#9 3 Doors Down
#16 Green Day
#17 Judas Priest
#23 The Killers
#36 Guns N Roses
#42 Motley Crue (hanging in there pretty well)

So you still use Music charts to gauge success/quality??

Clay Aiken hit the top of the charts, but I don't think we are in the midst of a radio lite/Manilow wannabe comeback.

Real Rock N' Roll doesn't care about chart success----ask the Sex Pistols.

better chart success=more tv exposure =a happier me because i like 2 listen to this stuff over the rap/hip hop shit that has been forced down my fucking throat

and btw if there were about 7 or 8 Clay Aiken type albums in the top 50 YES i would say it is a radio lite Manilow wannabe comeback..but your example of just 1 instance is stupid

Dude, you're still trying to say rock is coming back lol I just don't feel the buzz. The venues are getting smaller and smaller. Who's gonna be this generations next big rock group? Every Decade has had one? This one hasn't.
