FYI i just saw this post from a fan in France over at the website freemyheart.com...

"I've just read in my TV magazine that the musical TV channel MEZZO will show the spirit music sextet (as it was called at the time) concert at the NewMorning-Paris (it was on the 9th of july 2004)
It's not confirmed on the mezzo tv website but it's supposed to be on TV next monday in the night."

FYI For those that dont know, "Spirit Music Sextet" (recently re-named "Spirit Music Jamia" probably due to expanding group of talented musicians) is the amazing Meshell Ndegeocello's new Jazz group. They have a new record out now and they are on tour in Europe right now. I have heard their set from the 2004 Montreux Jazz Festival and it as truly inspired stuff...sure would be great to hear (and see) this NewMorning-Paris set if it really aires Monday night in France. (errr, heheh...not so subtle hint to any French owners of TV's & VCR or DVD recorders...ahem .. )

(man the French seem to have the Meshell Market cornered these days...first they get a lot of her new live tour, then they get the first release of her new record 'Dance of the Infidel', now they get a Spirit Music Concert concert aired on PRIME TIME Monday night too? Wow...man thats cool, folks over there sure must have some good taste in music...)

...i'll check the mezzo tv link again to see if theres any confirming news there...then again i can't read French ...
